Today we had what turned out to be transportation day. We drove the car to the train station. Rode the train to the subway, walked on our feet to Teleferica Park, then rode these flying cable cars up over the Casa de Campo, to a great playground for the kids to play at. Though the park and views were great, the excitement was more about the journey than the destination. Just as it should have been. Had we driven, we could have been there in 5 minutes, and where is the fun in that?

How fun! I wish we could have your adventure. You look like you are having so much fun - despite the circumstances. Your family is so darling. I wish I actually knew you! (I am Emily's friend)
Looks like the R. family has got their groove back. This post really sums you up, enjoying the journey rather than focusing on the destination.
What a fun time just getting to the park! The pic is beautiful but for an ol' gal who doesn't like heights it made me hold my breath just looking at it, ha. What a great outing and memory. Love Mom
Looks like you guys are having a blast over there. We miss you all!
